The Future's So Bright: Reading with Seattle Playwright's Salon
I had the great pleasure of reading the roles of Alyssa and Sam in Michael Mendiola’s new play The Future’s So Bright with Seattle Playwright’s Salon. This play is a love story taking place amidst a fascinating and though-provoking exploration of how artificial and physical barriers rise before us as we seek real connection with another person. With some incredible technical elements, and beautifully written dialogue, I cannot wait for this play to be mounted as a full-scale production. It’s one of those stories that will keep you thinking long after you leave the theatre. Wonderful to work with director Scot Charles Anderson, and fellow cast members Barry O’Neil, Mark Waldstein, and Teri Lee Thomas.
